NCC Activity – Nukkad Natak – Swachchata Se Samruddhi
On 01/10/2026, L.D. Arts College organized a Nukkad Natak (Street Play) as an NCC activity on the theme “Swachchata Se Samruddhi”. A total of 23 NCC cadets actively participated in the programme. Through the street play, the cadets highlighted the importance of cleanliness in daily life and raised awareness about maintaining a clean, healthy environment. The performance focused on various aspects of cleanliness, including proper waste disposal, avoiding littering, keeping public places clean, maintaining personal hygiene, and encouraging people to adopt responsible, sustainable habits. Mega Blood Donation Camp – NSS Day Celebration 2026
As a part of the NSS Day Celebration 2026, a Mega Blood Donation Camp was organised at L. D. Arts College with great enthusiasm and active participation from NSS volunteers. The camp was conducted in the true spirit of the NSS motto “Not Me But You” and encouraged students to contribute towards the welfare of society through voluntary blood donation.More than 70 NSS volunteers came forward and filled out the necessary forms for blood donation. 18th National Youth Parliament Competition
The Department of Political Science, L. D. Arts College, Ahmedabad (Autonomous) successfully organised the 18th National Youth Parliament Competition (Group Level) on 30 September 2026 under the aegis of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. The Youth Parliament was organised around the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047” and witnessed the participation of 55 students. On 17 September 2026, a Swachhata Abhiyan was organised at the Gujarat University campus on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s seva and samarpan’s 25-year celebration. NSS One-Day Camp – Visit to Suvarnasandhya Vriddhashram
An NSS visit to Suvarnasandhya Vriddhashram, Badarkha, Ahmedabad was organised from 14 to 15 September 2026, with the participation of 50 NSS volunteers under the guidance of Dr. N. P. Verma. The visit was organised with the aim of spending meaningful time with the elderly residents and understanding their experiences, emotions and perspectives. National Sports Day is observed on 29 August to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. L. D. Arts College organised a programme to celebrate National Sports Day on 27 August 2026 under the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme. On 17 September 2026, the “Manavta na Divda” programme was organised at Gujarat University as a symbolic celebration centred on the values of humanity, unity and service. Seva by NSS Volunteers with Narayan Seva Sansthan
On 6 September 2026, an NSS Seva activity was organised at Atal Kalam, Gujarat University, in the presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat. A total of 20 NSS volunteers from L. D.
