CAWACH Kendra, L. D. Arts College, Ahmedabad successfully organised a One-Day Workshop on “Cyber Awareness, Digital Safety & Responsible Behaviour” on 23rd January 2026 at the college conference room. The workshop was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students regarding cyber threats, digital safety, cyber laws, and responsible online behaviour.
The programme commenced with registration followed by prayer and lamp lighting ceremony. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. M. D. Chavda, Principal, L. D. Arts College, and Dr. Sriram Nerlekar, Director, AES, who guided students on the importance of cyber awareness in the present digital era.
The technical sessions were conducted by expert resource persons including DCP Traffic Ahmedabad Mr. Chiragbhai Patel, Ex-IAS Mr. Satishbhai Patel, Ex-Director Transport Shri J. N. Barevadia, Co-Founder of Securities360 private Company Shri. Nisarg Trivedi, and Assi. Professor of NFSU Dr. Vishal Parmar. The sessions covered topics such as cyber threats, digital safety practices, psychological impact of cyber crimes, and interactive discussions on real-life digital challenges.
More than 100 undergraduate students actively participated in the workshop. The sessions helped students understand common cyber threats, preventive measures, ethical digital behaviour, and cyber laws.
The programme concluded with a valedictory session by Coordinator of CAWACH Kendra Ass. Prof. Bhautik Patel, with Participant feedback, and certificate distribution. The workshop proved to be a meaningful initiative towards building a cyber-safe, informed, and responsible student community.
