L. D. Arts College proudly organized the Tiranga Yatra 2025 on 13th June 2025 as a prelude to the celebration of Indian Independence Day 2025, which will be observed on 15th August. The event was a tribute to the nation and a display of unity, patriotism, and pride.
The yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from various wings of the college, including the NSS, NCC, Sports Department, teaching and non-teaching staff, and a large number of students. The rally commenced from the L. D. Arts College campus and proceeded towards Gujarat University, with participants carrying the national flag and raising patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere filled with national fervor.
We were honored by the presence of Shri Amit Shah, MLA, along with Principal Dr. Mahipatsinhji Chawda who graced the event as the Chief Guest. His presence greatly motivated the participants, and he addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on the importance of unity, patriotism, and youth involvement in nation-building.
The Tiranga Yatra served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibility we all carries to uphold the values of our great nation. The event concluded successfully with the singing of the national anthem at Gujarat University.
