L. D. Arts College, Ahmedabad, organized an inspiring seminar on “Psychological Profiling in Criminal Investigation” on 6th September 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Vishal Parmar, Assistant Professor, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), who shared his expertise with the students.
During the seminar, Dr. Parmar explained in detail how and why criminals commit offenses, and how certain individuals suffering from psychological disorders may become involved in criminal activities. He also elaborated on the role of modern scientific tools and forensic technologies in identifying and apprehending offenders.
The session provided students with a deeper understanding of forensic science, criminal psychology, and its applications in modern investigation processes.
