The Department of Psychology of L.D. Arts College organized an insightful seminar for students on the theme “Cyber Crime and Criminal Behaviour.” The session was conducted by Ms. Iti Shukla, a renowned Clinical Psychologist at Sterling Hospital and Consultant with the Department of Mental Health at IIM Ahmedabad.
Ms. Shukla enlightened the students about the growing threats of cyber crime and its psychological dimensions. She further explained how criminal behaviour develops and emphasized the role of awareness in combating such activities. Students were guided on preventive measures and effective ways to deal with anti-social elements in society.
The seminar was highly interactive and helped students understand the psychological, social, and moral aspects of cyber crime in the present digital era.
