On 17 September 2026, the “Manavta na Divda” programme was organised at Gujarat University as a symbolic celebration centred on the values of humanity, unity and service. A large number of NSS volunteers from L. D. Arts College actively participated in the programme.
The volunteers came together and contributed enthusiastically to the lighting of earthen lamps (diyas), creating a meaningful and inspiring atmosphere across the university campus. The lighting of the diyas symbolised the spreading of light, hope, compassion and humanity in society.
The participation of the NSS volunteers reflected their commitment to social service and their willingness to be part of activities that promote positive values in the community. The programme brought students together in a spirit of togetherness and seva, reinforcing the message that even a small act of participation can become a collective symbol of humanity.
The programme was a memorable experience for the participating volunteers and was successfully completed, leaving a lasting impression of unity and compassion among all who were present.
