On 6 September 2026, an NSS Seva activity was organised at Atal Kalam, Gujarat University, in the presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat. A total of 20 NSS volunteers from L. D. Arts College actively participated in the programme from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The volunteers served as an active aid to the Narayan Seva Sansthan and contributed towards the smooth conduct of the programme.
The NSS volunteers assisted specially-abled persons in entering the building safely, particularly by helping them with wheelchairs. They also assisted in the registration process, guided visitors, and helped wherever their support was required. The volunteers further contributed to the distribution of food and carried out other responsibilities assigned to them during the programme.
The volunteers remained present and actively involved throughout the entire duration of the event. Their dedication, discipline and willingness to serve reflected the true spirit of NSS and community service.
At the conclusion of the programme, the participating NSS volunteers were awarded certificates in recognition of their valuable service and active contribution. The activity provided the volunteers with a meaningful opportunity to serve society and support specially-abled persons with care and responsibility.
