SARITA SHUKLA \nPlace where the Activity was conducted: College Auditorium \n Details of the Activity: The College Women Development Cell of the L.D.Arts. College Ahmedabad hosted and organized a very successful programme on awareness of women reproductive system\, health related issues\, nutrition and programme on awareness of women reproductive health related Issues nutrition and deficiency in women 2nd February 2023. The programme started with an enlightened speech by the coordinator\, the head of our College\, the Principal Dr. MahipatSinh Chavda sir; The lecture wan given by Dr Manoranjanaben Shah\, a Well-known gynaecologist\, Arunaben Chandrakan\, an expert in Nutrition and Nchalben Luhan. The whole programme was conducted by Dr Sarita Shukla. The opening remarks and introduction of the programme was given by the Principal. He highlighted on the awareness regarding safety of the girls\, their problems and solution\, issues regarding physical illness and its impact on the Study. He also described the importance of self-defence for the girls.\nDr Manoranjana Shah\, a well-known Gynaecologist in B.J.Medical College presented an interactive session with the students and on reproductive system\, menopause\, issues and post menopause issues and problems. She gave a detailed knowledge on the hormonal changes in the girls\, hygiene\, HIV\, STD\, Anaemia. \nNehaben Luthar\, a programme officer of Family Planning Association gave information regarding reproductive health\, problem of precautions. Anaemia\, teenage pregnancy and precautions. \nArunaben Chandrakaran a Nutrition Expert also gave lecture on nutrition deficiency in girts\, guidance on diet chart. \nAt the end there was personal advice and Counselling done to more than 30 girls about then health issues. Interactive session in the form of question and answers were very informative to all the participants. \n Outcome of the Activity/Event: Medical Advice and personal counselling done to many girl students of the college. It provided a wonderful trekking experience to the students. Polo Forest situated around 150 km from Ahmedabad and 40 km from Idar city on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan. River Harnav is main lifeline of Polo forest. The 400 square km area of dry mixed deciduous forest is most lush between August to December. The landscape appeared a bit open on winter day. Ancient temples like Jain derasar\, Surya Mandir and Sarneshwar temple having rich heritage and architectural marvel are located inside forest. A small dam inside forest – Harnav dam on Harnav river is another attraction inside the forest. The students had a wonderful experience of trekking over the ancient topography\, relict hills that have withstood the factors of weathering over the eons. \nOutcome of the activity/event: The students had an opportunity to observe the geographically varied topography and natural environment in the north-eastern corner of Gujarat State. Besides Geography\, the students could also enrich their knowledge of History and Heritage of state. It was a magnificent experience.\nThen we headed to our last stop. Amul chocolate factory\, we witnessed making of chocolate chips and almond.\n\nOutcome of the Activity/Event: \n\nAmul is the largest milk cooperative society in the world and we learned how it operates so efficiently and for the good of the farmer for so many years now.\nAt NDDB we got the Know so many things about many experiments and mission that are going on for improving the quality of live stock and to increase the milk productivity.
